Arrived in Espana!

I have arrived in Spain!! I am so happy to finally be here. I love my family and my roommate is wonderful. Her name is Meghan and she is from San Antonio Texas and she goes to the University of Texas in Austin. She is super sweet and I think we will get along great. My familia es muy bueno. There is a mom and dad and they have three boys. The two oldest boys are twins and their names are Victor and Jose. They sell art together for a living. Jose is married to Ana and they have one daughter named Pilar. Victor is not married and does not live in the house, but stops by often. Mateo is the youngest and he is 28. He sells custom curtains and lives at home. The mothers sister lives in the house as well. My family has a farm that they own, but they lease out because they do not want to do the work on it any longer. They farm mostly olives to make olive oil and they have horses as well. They definitely know what a John Deere tractor is. :) Our house is similar to a condo or flat. We are on the 8th floor of a 10 floor building. The building is very secure and has a locked entry to get into the lobby and there are elevators, thank God! :) I already love it here. The city is not like anything I expected. It seems like a truly local, Spanish town. There are hardly any people that speak English. Mateo is the only one in the family that speaks a little bit of English. Meghan speaks very good Spanish and I am so thankful for that! I can't wait to improve my own! We walked around looking for a straightener and had a good time. We stopped for some Cafe con leche (shot of espresso with steamed milk), which was delicious. The bar tender ended up being the owner of the Cafe. He and his two brothers own the Cafe together and his name is Reuben Reyes. The name of the cafe is "Cafe de Tres Reyes." We talked to him and told him it was our first day in Spain and he welcomed us, by not charging us for the Cafes, which was very nice of him. I am soo happy to have WIFI internet in our home. God definitely answered that prayer, the prayer to have a good roommate, the prayer to have a nice family, and clean home. I am looking forward to getting out and seeing the town. We are going on a walking tour with the group tonight. It is currently snowing in Granada and it's freezing!! Well I must go and attempt to find a straightener and more hangers.
