Brussels, Belgium

I am in Brussels and loving it. We arrived yesterday and walked up to our hostel and freaked out!! It looked super sketchy on the outside. There was a plastic banner over the door---yikes! We checked our rooms out and they were totally fine. It was clean and plain, but definitely much better than the outside appeared. We have three family rooms of 2 sets of bunk beds. The sheets are clean and much better than I anticipated. We walked around and found a delicious chocolate factory!! We had french fries, chocolate, and waffles (all of which Belgium is known for) in a matter of about 3 hours after arriving in Belgium! It was insane. Everything is delcious!! The next day Chelsie, Kayla, and I went and walked around the city and saw some cool sights (everyone else slept in) and we saw some comic strips that were painted on the sides of buildings. Belgium is also known for starting the Comic Strip. Then we all went out together tonight and had a great time. We are headed to Amsterdam tomorrow via train. More news to come later! xoxo
