Amsterdam, Holland

Well we made it to Amsterdam, Holland today!! We took a 3 hour train from Brussels to Amsterdam and we made it within 20 minutes to our hostel. Well, all I can say is we were spoiled at the last place!! This place is called "Bob's Youth Hostel." I mean, obviously we knew it wasn't going to be a great place, just based on the name, but it is only 7 minutes from the city center. We are in a great location. The sketchy part is that our family room has beds for 16 people, but we are only a group of 12 people, so we have some people we don't know in our room. We haven't met them yet, since we both have been out at different times. We do, however, have our own lockers to put our things in, so that's good. I got to meet up with my friend Debbie, who is my German friend, Konstantin's, girlfriend. I went to dinner with some of my friends (that I am traveling with) and Debbie and her friend. We had a really nice time and they took us to an authentic restaurant. We walked around the red light district and it was definitely unbelievable. It was nice of her to show us around. We walked her back to the central station and then walked back to our hostel. Going to bed now! xoxo!
